Jones and Cormier were initially slated to rematch at this past July’s blockbuster UFC 200 event in Las Vegas.
However, Jones was pulled from the fight card just days before the event after being flagged by USADA for banned substances.
Jones won the pairs first encounter via unanimous decision at UFC 182 in January of 2015.
“Bones” was last seen in action at UFC 197 where he defeated Ovince Saint Preux for the UFC interim light heavyweight title.
Meanwhile, Daniel Cormier was most recently seen in action at UFC 210 earlier this month where he scored a second-round submission victory (rear-naked choke) over top contender Anthony Johnson.
Who do you think will win the rematch if “DC” and “Bones” throw down at UFC 214 in Anaheim? Sound off PENN Nation!
