Jon Jones: ‘I may have DC call me daddy on fight night’
Back at UFC 182 in January of 2015, Jon Jones infamously placed his hand on top of Daniel Cormier’s head at the end of the 4th round of their title fight, in a display of disrespect.
Now, ahead of their highly anticipated rematch at UFC 200 for the undisputed light heavyweight championship, Jones has a different plan for disrespecting DC on July 9th.
He spoke on FS Live with Jay & Dan:
“I was waaaaaay back there. Way back there. I’m so in his head, I have a mansion in DC’s head. Right now I’m swimming in my swimming pool in the mansion in his head.”
“I’ve been thinking, I remember one of the guys refused to call Ali, Muhammad Ali; they were calling him Cassius Clay. And I remember Ali beat the shit out of the guy and was like, ‘What’s my name? Say my name!’ So I may just have DC call me ‘daddy’ on the night of the fight.”
On the other hand, with under two weeks to go until fight night, Daniel Cormier has begun the weight-cutting process.
Who takes the win, and the title belt, at UFC 200?
