Prior to UFC 200, news surfaced that former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones had been pulled over in Albuquerque, New Mexico and handed 5 traffic tickets. Included in the list of tickets was one for drag racing, something Jones vehemently denied.

The same week, video surfaced of the encounter starting from the point where the officer began to approach Jones’ vehicle. Over the course of the 10 minute video, Jones repeatedly denies drag racing.

Now, TMZ is reporting that Jones pled guilty to ‘unlawful use of modification of an exhaust system’ and ‘improper display of registration plate’, which resulted in the other charges being thrown out.

As part of his plea deal for the two above-mentioned charges, Jones must complete 60 hours of community service, and complete an aggressive driving course. Should the pound for pound kingpin fail to fulfill his end of the deal, he could find himself in jail for up to 90 days.

Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
