Israel Adesanya continues to take shots at rival Jon Jones as fans continue to clamor for a potential showdown between the two UFC champions. While talk of a super fight has been rife for a while now, it only really intensified upon Adesanya dethroning Robert Whittaker at UFC 243. While there’s still been a touch of hesitation from both parties regarding when it’s going to happen, it certainly seems as if the fight will take place at some stage within the next few years – or potentially even sooner.

All of a sudden, he started dilly-dallying around my name, calling other people out. He’s avoiding me. He called me out thinking I would hesitate. I want that. I need that. The Ultimate Fighter winner’s antics after the fight received quite a lot of attention, as did some of his comments regarding his desire to receive a UFC Light Heavyweight Championship title shot.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has a few options for his next title defense. A rematch with Thiago Santos is possible. Corey Anderson has asserted himself as a top contender. The winner of the upcoming fight between Jan Blachowicz and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will be right there… the list goes on. According to UFC President Dana White, however, undefeated contender Dominick Reyes will probably get the call to fight Jones next. Reyes is riding high on a big knockout of former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, and apparently also generated solid viewership numbers for that fight.

Anderson picked up a massive first-round knockout win over Johnny Walker in the final preliminary fight of the night at UFC 244. Often criticized as a ‘boring’ fighter who only wins decisions, Anderson needed to make a statement at UFC 244 and he did just that. His KO over Walker won him a $50,000 bonus for “Performance of the Night.”

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and MMA agent Ali Abdelaziz have donated a $25,000 reward each to find the missing daughter of Walt Harris. 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard is the daughter of Harris and she disappeared last week in Auburn, Alabama. Auburn and Montgomery police have been searching diligently to find her, but she has not been found. On Thursday, Auburn police revealed they found evidence in Blanchard’s vehicle that indicates she was potentially harmed.
