After UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier was pulled out of the originally scheduled fight with Jones, Saint Preux stepped in and will face Jones for the interim light heavyweight title. A video from Officer Jason Brown’s body camera was released, showing Jones and the officer engaging in an aggressive verbal battle that saw Jones repeatedly maintain his innocence.

Most recently, an alleged drag racing incident ended up getting Jones locked behind bars for three days for violating his probation that he was on for a previous hit-and-run accident. His most recent effort saw him score a unanimous decision victory over former Strikeforce champ Rafael Cavalcante at February’s UFC Fight Night 82 event. Prior to that, Saint Preux was submitted in the third-round by Glover Teixeira at UFC Fight Night 73. “OSP” also holds first-round knockout victories over “Shogun” Rua and Patrick Cummins.
