PHOTO | Jon Jones rips Daniel Cormier, questions how DC’s weight cut is going
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will look to take back the title he never actually lost when he squares off with current division title holder Daniel Cormier at next weekend’s UFC 214 event in Anaheim, California.
The bitter rivals, Cormier and Jones, first met at UFC 182 in January of 2015 with “Bones” emerging victorious by way of unanimous decision.

Daniel when’s the last time you washed that shirt? And your face looks like shit, how’s that weight cut coming? Just curious pic.twitter.com/ZUGgbpSqso

Jon Jones will enter the octagon for the first time since April of 2016 next weekend in Anaheim.
In his most recent octagon appearance, “Bones” defeated Ovince Saint Preux via unanimous decision at UFC 197, claiming the promotions interim light heavyweight title in the process.
During his illustrious career, Jones has scored victories over a handful of former UFC champions including Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans and Vitor Belfort.
As for Cormier, “DC” was last seen in the cage in early April, when he defended his title with a second-round submission victory over feared knockout artist Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.
In his next most recent fight, which occurred in July of 2016, he was originally expected to fight Jon Jones, but ultimately fought and defeated Anderson Silva in a last-minute non-title fight, this after Jones was forced off the card after failing a drug test.
Before defeating Silva, Cormier defended his title with a hard-fought decision defeat of Alexander Gustafsson, and won the title Jones had left vacant with defeat of Anthony Johnson.
