UFC 235: Jones vs. Smith Fight Card and Start Times

Jon Jones will put his newly acquired light heavyweight title on the line in the main event of UFC 235 against surging division contender Anthony Smith.

UFC 235 takes place March 2 live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jon Jones reclaimed the UFC’s 205-pound throne by defeating Alexander Gustafsson via third-round knockout at UFC 232 this past December in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, since moving up to the UFC’s light heavyweight ranks Anthony Smith has gone a perfect 3-0. During that time, “Lionheart” has scored stoppage victories over Rashad Evans, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Volkan Oezdemir.

In the co-main event of March’s UFC 235 pay-per-view event, reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will put his title on the line against surging division contender Kamaru Usman.

Woodley was most recently seen in action at September’s UFC 228 event, where he defeated Darren Till via second-round submission.

Meanwhile, since joining the UFC ranks in July of 2015, Kamaru Usman has gone a perfect 9-0.

In his most recent effort this past November, “The Nigerian Nightmare” scored a lopsided unanimous decision victory over former lightweight title holder Rafael dos Anjos.

If those two title fights were not enough to get you interested, UFC 235 also features the debut of former Bellator and ONE champion Ben Askren.

Askren will be taking on former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler on the evening’s main card which airs exclusively on pay-per-view.
