Jorge Masvidal calls to fight ‘cheating f*ck’ Chael Sonnen: “I would love to f*ck him up”
Former UFC title challenger Jorge Masvidal badly wants to fight the retired Chael Sonnen.
‘Gamebred’ is officially out of retirement. Last April, Jorge Masvidal suffered a lopsided decision loss at the hands of Gilbert Burns. Before the bout, the welterweight stated that he would retire with a defeat, and he kept his word. Well, Masvidal kept his word for a little less than a year.
Last month, Jorge Masvidal officially exited retirement, with one eye on the boxing ring. The former UFC title challenger has been linked to a bout with Nate Diaz, but the deal hasn’t been signed for that fight. If Masvidal can’t get that fight, he would have zero issues facing Chael Sonnen instead.
‘The American Gangster’ has been out of action since a knockout loss to Lyoto Machida in the Bellator cage in 2019. Chael Sonnen retired following the defeat but has stayed active in the MMA community. Over the last few years, the retired fighter has had several run-ins with Jorge Masvidal.
The two had a war of words in November, but that was far from the first time they went back and forth. On The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Jorge Masvidal discussed his feud with Chael Sonnen. There, he called to fight the former fighter, but ‘Gamebred’ admitted that it likely won’t happen.

“I can’t stand that lesbian transitional b*tch Chael Sonnen.” Jorge Masvidal stated on The MMA Hour alongside Ariel Helwani earlier today. “No offense to lesbians because there’s some hot cool-ass lesbians out there. But it’s just him with those glasses and that haircut, he looks like he’s in transition. I would love to bust up Chael, but he would never get in the boxing ring with me. They’ve offered him all types of crazy money.”
He continued, “…But Chael would be one guy that I would love to break his eye orbital. Just because he’s such a cheating f*ck. He’s gotten caught with more cheating substances in his body than any other competitor in the history [of the sport]. At one time he had like six or seven different substances in his body for one of his title fights.”
“It’s like, you’re a f*cking piece of s*it human being.” Jorge Masvidal concluded, speaking of Chael Sonnen. “…So Chael, would be someone I would love to f*ck up man. Do all the steroids you want, it won’t matter. I’m still going to break your eye orbital bro.”
