Jose Aldo gives major update on Conor McGregor’s next fight
Current UFC interim featherweight champion Jose Aldo is longing to avenge his KO loss to Conor McGregor.
Following an impressive win over Frankie Edgar to capture the interim title at UFC 200, Aldo is just waiting for McGregor to finish his business with the non-title welterweight fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 so that he can get back in the Octagon with McGregor.
“That’s what Dana said,” Aldo said during a recent media day in Rio de Janeiro Brazil (transcribed by Daily Star).
“Dana said his next fight has to be at featherweight, so I’m hopeful.
“I’m thinking about that and hope that is the case. But if it’s not, I have no problem.
“I want to be champion. Whoever they put in there, I will win.”
After McGregor’s fight with Diaz, will Jose Aldo get his rematch with “The Notorious?” Share your thoughts in the comment section on how the rematch would go.
