Jose Aldo offers to fight Conor McGregor in the street
Conor McGregor once made a comment that if this was the medieval times, he would ride into the favelas of Brazil on horseback, and kill everyone who was unfit to work.
After Aldo was KOd stiff in just 13 seconds at UFC 194, where he lost his featherweight championship, he stated that he would fight McGregor anytime and anywhere, even if it wasn’t for the belt.
Now, ahead of his UFC 200 interim featherweight championship bout against Frankie Edgar, Aldo is ready to run through his opponent, and fight Conor McGregor in the streets if he has to.
He spoke during a Q&A, as transcribed by MMAFighting:
“I don’t think it will be like the first one,” Aldo said during a Q&A with the fans prior to the UFC 198 official weigh-ins. “He’s coming differently, but when we get into it he will go back to his game, and that’s when we’re catching him. I revised my concepts, we learn a lot with the losses, and I learned.”
“I will get there and run through (Edgar). It doesn’t matter what happens, we will win the fight,” he said. “After that, we will get (McGregor) even if it’s in the streets.”
