The next UFC pay-per-view on the horizon is UFC 212, which will emanate from sun-soaked Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on June 3.

From the early vantage point, this card looks like it could be a great one.

In the evening’s main event, we’ll see undisputed featherweight champion Jose Aldo attempt to unify his title with the interim featherweight belt owned by Max Holloway. The co-main event, meanwhile, will pit recent strawweight title challengers Claudia Gadelha and Karolina Kowalkiewicz against each other in a perceived strawweight number one contender bout.

The main card will also include the retirement fight of MMA legend Vitor Belfort, who will take on a fellow veteran in Nate Marquardt, as well as appearances by names like Erick Silva, Yancy Medeiros, and Oluwale Bamgbose.

The undercard, meanwhile, will be topped by a bantamweight scrap between long-time contender Raphael Assuncao and debuting former World Series of Fighting champ Marlon Moraes. It will also feature names like Eric Spicely, Antônio Carlos Júnior, Johnny Eduardo, and Iuri Alcantara.

In advance of this anticipated Brazilian pay-per-view the UFC has released video of perhaps the best fight of Aldo’s incredible career: a 2014 slugfest with Team Alpha Male staple Chad Mendes. Though Aldo was expected to be the far sharper striker in this fight, the wrestler Mendes surprised with a vastly improved standup game, which resulted in arguably the best title fight in UFC featherweight history.

Aldo will enter this fight with Holloway having not fought since July, when he won interim gold by defeating Frankie Edgar. From there, he was promoted to undisputed champion when Conor McGregor was stripped of that title by the UFC.

Holloway, meanwhile, will enter the fight on a baffling, 10-fight streak, highlighted by triumphs over names like Anthony Pettis, Ricardo Lamas, Charles Oliveira, Jeremy Stephens and Cub Swanson.

Who are you picking in UFC 212’s Max Holloway vs. Jose Aldo main event?
