UFC Adelaide Results and Highlights

Stay tuned to BJPENN.com for all of tonight’s UFC Adelaide results and highlights. The event is headlined by a heavyweight fight between Junior Dos Santos and Tai Tuivasa.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Blagoy Ivanov which took place at July’s UFC Fight Night 133 event.

“JDS” has gone 4-3 inside the octagon since losing his title to Cain Velasquez at UFC 166 in October of 2013.

Meanwhile, Tai Tuivasa enters tonight’s UFC Adelaide main event sporting a perfect professional record of 8-0. In his most recent octagon appearance at UFC 225, “Bam Bam” earned a unanimous decision victory over former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski.

If that wasn’t enough to get you interested, perennial heavyweight contenders Mark Hunt and Justin Willis will collide on this evenings main card.

Mark Hunt is coming off back-to-back losses to opponents Curtis Blaydes and Alexey Oleynik. Prior to the setbacks, “The Super Samoan” had picked up a TKO victory over recent division title challenger Derrick Lewis.

As for Justin Willis, “Big Pretty” improved his overall record to 7-1 this past April by earning a unanimous decision victory over Chase Sherman.

Also featured on tonight’s card is light heavyweight contest between former division champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Tyson Pedro.
