Brandon Moreno has slammed Deiveson Figueiredo’s attempt to avoid a fourth fight with him. The two men fought in their trilogy bout in January at UFC 270. The Brazilian recaptured the title in a unanimous decision victory after five grueling rounds. Following the victory, both men displayed an interest in fighting for the fourth time.

Deiveson Figuereido has clarified his callout of Kai-Kara France. The UFC flyweight champion asked for the fight due to racist comments from Brandon Moreno’s team. The Brazilian was last in action at UFC 270 in January. He reclaimed UFC gold with a unanimous decision victory over Brandon Moreno in their trilogy bout. Due to the closeness of their three previous bouts, many assumed we’d see a fourth installment.

UFC flyweight contender Kai Kara-France reacted after brutally knocking out former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt at UFC 269. Kara-France entered the fight as the underdog despite being much more proven in the UFC flyweight division. As Garbrandt is a former UFC champ, he got the respect of coming into this fight as a small betting favorite. However, it was apparent quickly that the odds were wrong and that this was Kara-France’s fight to lose. Needed just one round to get the job done, Kara-France dropped Garbrandt twice with punches before finishing him via TKO.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC 269 event, a fourteen-bout fight card headlined by Charles Oliveira vs. Dustin Poirier. The highly anticipated lightweight title fight produced one of the craziest opening rounds in UFC history. Dustin Poirier was able to drop Charles Oliveira on two occasions and appeared to be cruising towards his much desired title win. However, in round two ‘Do Bronx’ was able to score an early takedown and road out the round on top while dropping elbows. Then, in round three, Oliveira was able to take the back of ‘The Diamond’ and promptly locked in a rear-naked choke to finish the contest (see that here).
