BREAKING | Kevin Lee Dramatically Makes Weight For UFC 216
We’re just an hour removed from one of the most stressful weigh-ins in UFC history. If you want to go through the suspenseful play-by-play, you can relive the entire situation right here. After the sweat and the panic, Kevin Lee walked slowly to the scale with literally seconds left to weigh-in. Unfortunately, he was one single pound off and title fights do not allow for a one pound allowance. With doctor’s approval, he was given the go-ahead to safely lose one pound with in an hour. He then went back and performed the magic: The interim title fight is on.

154 and a half pounds. Wow. After all the peril with Khabib Nurmagomedov, the UFC and Dana White has to have let out a gigantic sigh of relief along with fight fans. After such a brutal edge-of-your-seat weight cut like that, it’s going to be very interesting to see how tomorrow night’s interim title fight plays out. Tony Ferguson’s confidence has to be sky high at this point. The drama of making weight is settled, but that storm of suspense will now invade the Octagon like the smoke monster from LOST at UFC 216. We. Can’t. Wait.
