UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee says he’ll help Georges St-Pierre prepare for a potential fight with the lightweight division’s reigning champ, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib Nurmagomedov is scheduled to defend his lightweight title against the division’s interim titleholder, Justin Gaethje, on October 24. If he gets past that massive challenge, the expectation is that he could take on St-Pierre, the former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion, as he looks to improve his professional record to an absurd 30-0.

UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee announced that he had successful surgery on his ACL which he says he re-injured in the Charles Oliveira fight. Lee fought nearly two months ago at the last UFC event when he was tapped out by Oliveira in their headliner in Brasilia. Lee said after the fight that he was unsure when he would like to fight again after a disappointing performance following his insane head kick KO win over Gregor Gillespie back at UFC 244.

Most sporting events around the globe have been postponed or canceled following the coronavirus outbreak which has sent the world into panic mode. After Bellator canceled its event scheduled for Friday night, the UFC is the only notable sporting event still taking place this weekend. As of right now, UFC Brasilia is still set to take place on Saturday afternoon with the main event featuring Lee and Oliveira in a catchweight bout. No fans will be in attendance for the card.
