Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals his gameplan for Conor McGregor at UFC 229
Current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (26-0 MMA) will look to make his first ever title defense a successful one when he takes on Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229.
The undefeated Russian, Nurmagomedov, captured the UFC’s vacant lightweight title at April’s UFC 223 event in Brooklyn by defeating Al Iaquinta via unanimous decision.
“The Eagle” has utilized his superior grappling skills to go a perfect 10-0 under the UFC banner, which includes four stoppage victories (two knockouts and two submissions).
As expected, Khabib Nurmagomedov plans to once again use his phenomenal wrestling in his upcoming title fight with former division champion Conor McGregor at UFC 229 on October 6 in Las Vegas.
