With the score tied at 1 win apiece for both men, Rockhold is eyeing a trilogy fight with Bisping sooner rather than later despite the fact that it appears that Bisping will look to defend his title against Dan Henderson first.

In the main event of UFC 199, UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold was knocked out cold by Michael Bisping, earning ‘The Count’ the middleweight championship after nearly a decade with the UFC. Following the bout, the pair were involved in two post-fight exchanges. The first took place in the Octagon, when Bisping attempted to shake Rockhold’s hand for a second time. The second came at the post-fight press conference, where Rockhold stated that he would “kill” Bisping.

When fighters don’t follow the protocol, they are either fined, or they have to remove the article of clothing. When UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold showed up to the UFC 199 press conference yesterday wearing Adidas shoes, adjustments had to be made.

Despite Chris Weidman withdrawing from his UFC 199 rematch with Luke Rockhold for the middleweight championship this Saturday, the trash-talk between the two has continued. After Rockhold said that Weidman fights like an idiot, Weidman fired back in a Tweet, in which he told Rockhold to keep his name out of his mouth and focus on Michael Bisping, who he referred to as ‘a gift’.
