MMA Community reacts to Makwan Amirkhani vs. Jason Knight
A featherweight scrap between Makwan Amirkhani and Jason Knight took place on tonight’s UFC Fight Night 130 main card from Liverpool, England.
The first-round of the fight was nothing short of spectacular as both fighters scored knockdowns and came close to finishing the fight.
In rounds two and three Makwan would utilize his grappling skills to control the action and keep Knight from getting off any real offense.
After fifteen minutes of exciting back and forth action we went to the judges scorecards for decision.
The first judge saw the fight in favor of Jason Knight 30-27, however the other two judges in attendance scored the bout 29-28 for Amirkhani who walked away with a split-decision victory.
