The Octagon returns to New Jersey for tonight’s UFC Atlantic City event, a 14-bout fight card headlined by Erin Blanchfield vs. Manon Fiorot. Blanchfield (12-1 MMA) will enter the contest sporting a nine-fight winning streak, her most recent being a unanimous decision victory over Taila Santos. Prior to that, ‘Cold Blooded’ had scored three submission wins in a row, finishing JJ Aldrich, Molly McCann and Jessica Andrade in that stretch.

Erin Blanchfield is looking to secure a title shot with a win against Manon Fiorot in the main event of UFC Atlantic City on Saturday. Blanchfield is a perfect 6-0 in the UFC and coming off a decision win over Taila Santos back in August. Although at the time many thought that would be a No. 1 contender fight, Blanchfield is now set to face Fiorot in a bout that she’s the betting favorite in.

Erin Blanchfield believes a UFC interim title bout with Manon Fiorot might be on the table. ‘Cold Blooded’ has been out of the cage since a unanimous decision win over Taila Santos in August. That was Erin Blanchfield’s ninth win in a row, previously defeating names such as Jessica Andrade. Following her victory, she called to fight the rising Manon Fiorot next. ‘The Beast’ last defeated Rose Namajunas in September.

UFC star Rose Namajunas has explained why Trevor Wittman wasn’t in her corner at UFC Paris last weekend. On Saturday night, Rose Namajunas made her flyweight debut as she went toe to toe with top contender Manon Fiorot. While she put up a valiant effort, she ultimately fell short and lost via decision. One of the reasons for that, as many now know, is due to the fact she suffered a broken finger early on in the contest.

UFC star Rose Namajunas has posted a picture of the broken finger she suffered at UFC Paris last weekend. On Saturday night, Rose Namajunas made her flyweight debut as she began her pursuit of a second world title in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Unfortunately, she fell to a unanimous decision loss at the hands of Manon Fiorot, with one of the biggest problems during the bout being a broken finger she suffered in the first round. Despite the injury, her corner insisted that she should continue, and she did.

Manon Fiorot believes she’s due for a title shot following her UFC Paris victory over Rose Namajunas. Fiorot and Namajunas shared the Octagon inside Accor Arena in Paris, France on September 2. The bout went the distance and Fiorot was awarded the unanimous decision victory. Most agree that at this point, Fiorot and Erin Blanchfield are the two names to look at for the winner of Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko 2.

Today’s UFC Paris event was co-headlined by a key women’s flyweight matchup between Rose Namajunas and Manon Fiorot. Namajunas (12-6 MMA) was returning to action for the first time since losing the strawweight title to Carla Esparza at UFC 274 in May of 2022. Prior that setback, ‘Thug’ was on a three-fight winning streak, which included back-to-back victories over reigning strawweight queen Zhang Weili.
