Matt Hughes airlifted to medical facility after car accident

Tragic news surfaced Friday morning that former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes had been airlifted to a medical facility according to UFC President Dana White.
White revealed to ESPN that the 43-year-old Hughes was helping a friend out, when the car he was riding in collided with a moving train.
While details on the situation are scarce at the present time, White gave what little info he had:
“Apparently he has head trauma,” White said. “His family is traveling to him now.”
