Bitter rivals Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping continue to beef on social media
Former UFC middleweight champions and bitter rivals Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping continued to trade barbs on social media over the weekend.
It all started on Saturday when Michael Bisping shared is prediction for a potential Luke Rockhold vs. Alexander Gustafsson fight on Twitter.
If you believe the internet. I’d love either. I really would. FYI, @AlexTheMauler smashes @LukeRockhold , I mean totally destroys him https://t.co/3cxYsV9ycz

“If you believe the internet. I’d love either. I really would. FYI, @AlexTheMauler smashes @LukeRockhold , I mean totally destroys him!” – Michael Bisping
The former UFC middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold (16-4 MMA), announced his intentions of moving up to the UFC’s light heavyweight division following his third-round knockout loss to Yoel Romero at UFC 221 this past February.
According to Bisping, who KO’d Rockhold in their rematch at UFC 199 to capture the UFC’s middleweight crown, “Rocky” would get “totally destroyed” in a fight with “The Mauler”.
Obviously Bisping’s comments did not sit well with Rockhold, who fired back at “The Count” with the following statement on Twitter.
@bisping 5am Twitter rants? Say no to drugs and say yes to the contract. Any weight, any where, any time.

“@bisping 5am Twitter rants? Say no to drugs and say yes to the contract. Any weight, any where, any time.” – Luke Rockhold
Bisping then replied to the Rockhold’s tweet by calling Luke “a salty little bitch”.

“I was gonna lower myself to responding with an insult, but it seems the public have done it for me. Haha. Still a salty little bitch aren’t you.” – Michael Bisping
Michael Bisping has stated that if he does choose to fight again, his retirement fight would almost certainly take place at light heavyweight (205-pounds).
With both men, Rockhold and Bisping, holding stoppage victories over each other a trilogy bout would definitely peak fight fans curiousity.
