Georges St-Pierre hints at location of Michael Bisping fight?
Former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre is currently gearing up for his 2017 return to the Octagon, which will see him challenge Michael Bisping for the UFC middleweight title after three years away from the Octagon.
While the UFC announced earlier this year that a Bisping vs. St-Pierre fight will take place at some point this year, it has not been announced when St-Pierre and Bisping will fight for the title. This of course has led to Michael Bisping stating that if St-Pierre isn’t ready to fight this summer, he will take the title shot from the former welterweight champ and give it to the middleweight #1 contender, Yoel Romero.
Interestingly enough, in a social media post, St-Pierre may have dropped a major hint as to where his middleweight title fight with Bisping will take place:
Interestingly enough, as St-Pierre stated in his social media post, he could be fighting there “in a few months” which would line-up with the July timeline given by Michael Bisping for his ideal date for a title fight with Bisping.
Only time will tell when St-Pierre and Bisping will step into the Octagon together, however given that there has been no response from St-Pierre to Bisping’s ultimatum, and no further statements from Bisping, we could very well see these two MMA veterans stepping into the Octagon together this summer for a highly anticipated middleweight title fight.
Stay tuned for updates on this situation as they become available, including any further updates on where the fight could potentially be taking place.
