Michael Chandler blasts Dillon Danis following Bellator 198
Submission specialist Dillon Danis picked up a first-round submission victory over Kyle Walker on the main card of last night’s Bellator 198 event in Chicago.
The fight served as Danis’ professional mixed martial arts debut and came against an opponent with a losing record in Walker.
Not long after Danis picked up his toe hold submission win over Kyle Walker, former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler weighed in with his thoughts of Dillon’s performance and post-fight interview.
Just catching up to #bellator198 @dillondanis said he was the “highest paid fighter in @BellatorMMA” but I think he meant to say “most un-athletic fighter in Bellator” and that was against a man with a losing record. #cringe #slow #sloth #bellator198

Michael Chandler (18-4 MMA) has long been considered one of the best lightweight fighters in the world.
The former Bellator lightweight champion, Chandler, recently scored a first-round submission victory over Brandon Girtz at Bellator 197 in Missouri.
It’s safe to say that Michael Chandler was less than impressed with Dillon Danis’ performance despite the positive outcome.
While Danis definitely caught some heat for his words following Bellator 198, he also received some major praise from training partner and former UFC champion Conor McGregor.
