Michael Page’s father facing 22 sex-related charges
News surfaced Friday morning that Curtis Page, the father of Bellator MMA star Michael Page, is currently facing 22 sex-related charges, and has begun to appear in court.
Page has been charged with 6 rapes, 14 incident assaults, and 2 counts of sex with a child under the age of 13, and is accused of committing said acts between 1985 and 1995. The prosecutor in the case recalled several horrifying incidents for the court, in which Page is accused of having sexually abused a female student after martial arts class on one occasion, before he then allegedly “raped her with a blade held to her throat and threatened to throw her out of the window of her 18th floor flat”.
On another occasion, Page allegedly groped a victim at the age of 11 before then taking the girl’s virginity at the age of 12, continuing a sexual relationship with the girl for years. A third victim alleged that Page sexually assaulted her twice, before then beginning a sexual relationship with the victim when she turned 16, the age of consent in Britain.
While Page has denied all of the allegations, he admitted that he had sexual relations with all three girls after they turned 16. Despite the numerous charges, he believes that the three women conspired together in order to get him in trouble.
It is important to mention that Page has been suspend from teaching following his arrest given that the alleged incidents revolved around Page’s martial arts coaching of young females.
Page’s son, Michael Page, is currently gearing up for his Bellator 179 scrap with Derek Anderson. That fight was initially rumored to be a scrap between Page and Paul Daley, however Daley allegedly refused the fight and as a result, Anderson was given the fight.
Stay tuned for updates on this situation as they become available.
