Submission Underground 11 was originally expected to see Gordon Ryan and Craig Jones as a tag team as Sonnen put up a $25,000 challenge for any two men who could beat them. Vinny Magalhaes and Kyle Boehm quickly stepped up for the challenge. Yet, Ryan had to pull out with an injury and was replaced by Nick Rodriguez.

UFC welterweight fan favorite Mike Perry says he is considering a move down to 155lbs after struggling in his last few fights at 170lbs. Perry has dropped back-to-back fights to Geoff Neal and Vicente Luque and overall has dropped five of his last seven fights at 170lbs. That’s part of why he is potentially considering a move down in weight to get a fresh start, though he’s not convinced he will be able to cut all that weight. Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, Perry spoke about moving down a weight class.

Popular UFC welterweight Mike Perry has called out his last opponent Geoff Neal for a rematch after their fight at UFC 245 in December. Perry suffered the first knockout loss of his MMA career when Neal finished him with a head kick and punches just 90 seconds into their welterweight fight at UFC 245 in Las Vegas. For Perry, it was his second straight loss and his third loss in his last four fights, while for Neal it upped his winning streak to seven straight fights.

Within three years, he has achieved a peppered record of wins and losses. Nevertheless, “Platinum” has proven to be one of the most entertaining welterweights in the division who delivers showstopping performances. His last fight was no different as the 28-year old went to war against Vicente Luque for fifteen minutes in August 2019.
