Mikey Burnett and son shot.

According to a source close to the situation MMA Pioneer Mikey Burnett and his son Freddie were shot in a busy parking lot near 31st and Garnett in Tulsa, OK. Police say it was a botched robbery.

Freddie was shot once in the leg and Mikey was shot three times in the abdomen.

“His son was shot in the leg. I think Mikey got the worst of it. They are both expected to make it and recover. It’s just crazy. Freaking thugs.”  Danny O’Brien

As of right now Mikey and his son are both in surgery but are expected to make a full recovery.
