Mirko Cro Cop set to take part in epic rematch with Satoshi Ishii

By BJPENN.COM News - December 1, 2014

Cro Cop

Mirko Cro Cop will be facing off against Satoshi Ishii in a highly anticipated rematch later this year on New Years Eve.

Cro Cop and Ishii fought earlier this year, with Cro Cop securing a 2nd round TKO win from a well placed elbow. The bout saw Cro Cop claim the IGF heavyweight title, and snap Ishii’s 8-fight win streak.

MMAWeekly broke the story, which also stated that UFC fighter Josh Barnett will be taking part in the festivities in the form of a pro wrestling match, so as to not violate his Zuffa contract like Dashon Johnson did (See that HERE).

As if Cro Cop, and Barnett weren’t enough star power for the event, PRIDE FC veterans Fedor Emelianenko and Wanderlei Silva will be ringside at the event.

Check out the first fight between these two warriors below.
