Former UFC lightweight title challenger and TUF 5 winner Nate Diaz is moving on from the UFC.

The “Stockton Slugger” took to social media just moments ago where he announced the news.

“Ufc offered me title fight in any weight class. I’m kool though I’ll givem a shot when they do something good’
On to the next sport for now.”

Nate Diaz was most recently linked to a potential welterweight title fight with current division champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 219.

Unfortunately for fight fans, the proposed Woodley vs. Diaz scrap did not come together as hoped.

Nate Diaz was most recently seen in action at UFC 202 in August of 2016 where he suffered a controversial majority decision loss to current lightweight title holder Conor McGregor.

It appears that the younger Diaz brother will now follow in the footsteps of Conor McGregor by taking his talents to the squared circle.

“Mystic Mac” made a fortune by entering the boxing ring and taking on undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather earlier this summer in Las Vegas.

Who would you like to see Nate Diaz throw down with if he does in fact take his talents to the boxing ring? Sound off PENN Nation!
