Nate Diaz blasts Dustin Poirier and announces that he is “going back out on tour till the game mans up”

By Christopher Taylor - October 19, 2018

Nate Diaz took to social media once again today where he blasted Dustin Poirier for mysteriously pulling out of their scheduled fight at UFC 230.

Ten days ago, news broke that “The Diamond” had been forced out of his slated bout with “The Stockton Slugger” due to an undisclosed injury.

Most recently, Dustin Poirier announced that he “doesn’t require hip surgery” and expects to be back training in just three weeks.

That news did not sit well with Nate Diaz, who questioned the legitimacy of Poirier’s injury tonight on Twitter.

“This guy mysteriously pulls out wit no injury and it’s crickets from the whole roster? I’m going back out on tour till the game mans up.. Shoutout to @GamebredFighter he’s down respect 💪🏼👊🏼”

Despite blasting Poirier, Diaz did give a shoutout to UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal, who had offered to take a fight with Nate on short-notice to help save UFC 230.

From the sounds of things, fight fans won’t be seeing Nate Diaz step foot in the octagon any time soon.

The California native, Nate Diaz, was last seen in action at UFC 202 in August of 2016, where he suffered a controversial majority decision loss in his rematch with Conor McGregor.

Prior to that, Diaz was coming off a second-round submission victory over “Mystic Mac”, which occurred at UFC 196.

Do you think we will ever see former UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz back inside the octagon? Sound off PENN Nation!
