Michael Chandler is planning a quick turnaround so that he can face Nate Diaz in a welterweight matchup on July 30th. It was Michael Chandler (23-7 MMA) vs Tony Ferguson (26-7 MMA) last Saturday at UFC 274 in a lightweight match-up. The 36-year-old Chandler scored the KO victory with a second-round front kick that floored Ferguson.

UFC President, Dana White, recently did an interview in the ‘war room’ for ‘The Pivot Podcast’ and in the background a list of future fights were displayed on the board. Albeit the room is considered to be top-secret, a screen shot of the board has emerged on ‘Twitter’ and shows a Nate Diaz (20-13 MMA) vs Khamzat Chimaev (11-0 MMA) for UFC 276.

It appears the UFC is interested in making Nate Diaz vs. Khamzat Chimaev for UFC 276. The UFC war room has a list of all the upcoming events and fights on those cards, and the room is considered to be top-secret. Yet, when Dana White recently did The Pivot podcast, the interview was held in the war room. During the interview, some of the future fights were displayed on the board and one of the biggest was Nate Diaz vs. Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 276.

It was clear from the word go that these two individuals simply didn’t like one another and when they fought, they produced magic in the cage and both took home one victory each.

Gilbert Burns has revealed three potential names for him to face next. The Brazilian is coming off a loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 273 last weekend. Despite being a massive underdog going into the contest, Burns gave the undefeated fighter a lot of trouble. Nate Diaz has slammed his former UFC opponents Conor McGregor and Jorge Masivdal for their recent arrests. McGregor was arrested on Tuesday evening in Dublin for alleged dangerous driving. Along with being arrested, the Irishman had his Bentley Continental GT detained and will now have to appear before Blanchardstown district court next month. He previously appeared before the same court in 2017 when he was fined €400 for speeding.
