Report | Jorge Masvidal offered fight with Nick Diaz
Drake Riggs - October 24, 2018
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Jorge Masvidal and Nick Diaz competing inside the Octagon…could we see them return at the same time? Knowing both of the Diaz brothers, that’s probably a pretty unlikely fight to take. Low reward with high risk doesn’t seem like the kind of fights that Stockton’s finest have interest in these days but we never know.
Nick Diaz feels Conor McGregor didn't look like himself against Khabib Nurmagomedov
Tom Taylor - October 8, 2018
Over the weekend, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov picked up his first title defense — and the biggest win of his career — choking out former lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor in the first round. While Nurmagomedov’s win over McGregor was quite lopsided, it wasn’t enough to impress former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz. In Diaz’s eyes, Conor McGregor didn’t look like himself in the fight. He also finds Khabib Nurmagomedov’s fighting style ‘dirty.’

In fact, Nick Diaz feels Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor really aren’t as good as everybody is letting on, and that he’d beat both of them.

Speaking on his Instagram story, the former Strikeforce welterweight champion and UFC welterweight title challenger Nick Diaz shared his thoughts on the fight. See what he had to say below.

Though neither has fought in a quite awhile, there is reason to believe both could return to the cage soon, as Nick’s USADA suspension recently ended, and Nate has recently been linked to the upcoming UFC 227 card. In the opinion of former Strikeforce middleweight champ and current PFL star Jake Shields, who has trained extensively with both Diaz brothers in the past, Nate in particular is likely to compete again before all is said and done.
