It’s no secret that Stockton superstars Nick and Nate Diaz are frequent marijuana smokers.
While this sometimes results in a bit of controversy surrounding the brothers, Nick recently took to Snapchat to show off ‘Diaz Bros’ rolling papers:

While this could very well be a major business move for the brothers, their smoking has caused quite a few incidents in the past. Most recently, Nate Diaz caused quite a bit of commotion when he appeared at the UFC 202 post-fight press conference with a vape pen that was filled with CBD Oil. Nick Diaz then released a statement on the matter, saying that his brother wasn’t smoking CBD Oil, he was actually smoking marijuana.
Prior to that, Nick Diaz was involved in arguably one of the biggest controversies in recent MMA history. After Diaz tested positive for marijuana following his UFC 183 fight with Anderson Silva, the NSAC suspended Diaz for 5 years for the infraction. Given the outrage over Diaz’ suspension, and with the support of a petition, as well as support from members of the MMA community, the NSAC ultimately reached a settlement with Diaz and reduced the suspension.
Nate of course if coming off of a big 2016. In March at UFC 196, the younger Diaz brother picked up the biggest win of his UFC career as he rocked and then submitted Conor McGregor on just two weeks notice. In November, the pair had their highly anticipated rematch at UFC 202, where Conor McGregor avenged the loss and picked up a majority decision win in a ‘Fight of the Year’ contender.
Nick on the other hand just recently once again became eligible to fight. While there has been no official word as to when he will return to the Octagon, there have been reports that he is looking to make his return at UFC 209.
