In what has to be one of the stranger fights we’ve ever seen, pro poker players Olivier Busquet and JC Alvarado competed in an MMA fight for $270,000.

Going into the fight, Alvarado reportedly had an MMA background, however several people that were interviewed in the video above bet on Busquet based on how he was training for the fight.

Alvarado was confident enough going into the fight that he himself put up $150,000 of the reported $270,000.
