Regian Eersel will have a shot at redemption when he faces Alexis Nicolas in a rematch for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship. 

This thrilling encounter headlines ONE Fight Night 25 on Prime Video, airing live in U.S. primetime from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 4.

The first meeting between both men this past April left fans stunned. There, Nicolas emerged victorious, defeating Eersel by unanimous decision and seizing the divisional crown.

The bout began with the two warriors exchanging combinations comfortably at the center of the ring. However, the dynamics shifted dramatically in the second round. There, Nicolas landed a devastating overhand right, dropping Eersel to the canvas.

“The Immortal” showcased his resilience by surviving the knockdown and fighting back in the subsequent rounds.

Eersel intensified his aggression, pressing forward relentlessly in the third frame. “Barboza” matched the then-champion’s pace, unleashing lightning-quick punches from range.

The final frame saw them engage in a fierce exchange of heavy blows, with neither willing to give an inch.

Ultimately, Nicolas’ clean and effective striking down the stretch helped his case to earn a victory on the scorecards. This ended Eersel’s impressive 22-fight winning streak.

Regian Eersel seeks to restore two-sport glory
