Christian Lee’s highly anticipated return to action finally has a date.

This happens at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8, airing live from the State Farm Arena. There, the two-division ONE World Champion puts his lightweight MMA crown against Alibeg Rasulov.

Lee’s absence from competition dates back to his victory over Kiamrian Abbasov for the ONE Welterweight MMA World Title in November 2022.

He then took a step back following the sudden and tragic passing of his younger sister, Victoria Lee, in December of that same year.

Now, with a renewed focus and determination, “The Warrior” prepares to resume his impressive career as a mixed martial artist.

Currently in his second reign as the ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion, Lee is regarded as one of the promotion’s best pound-for-pound fighters.

He has won eight of his last nine outings, with seven of those victories coming by way of TKO.

Despite his lengthy layoff, Lee still holds the record for the most wins (17) and most finishes (16) in ONE Championship history.

Alibeg Rasulov looks to spoil Christian Lee’s comeback

Christian Lee’s opponent — Alibeg Rasulov — enters the fray with an unblemished record of 14-0. Moreover, 10 of these 14 career wins have come by way of stoppage.

Rasulov recently underscored his credentials with an upset victory over Ok Rae Yoon earlier this month.

Despite being ineligible to claim the ONE Interim Lightweight MMA World Title for missing the weigh-in period, he still put forth a gallant stand against the division’s former kingpin.

The Turkish brute operated behind his wrestling-centric offense, overwhelming the South Korean with clinch work and inside striking to move closer to a date with Lee.

As Lee seeks to extend his reign and solidify his legacy, Rasulov aims to prove his mettle and seize the championship gold in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
