Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria have different reasons as to why they had a skirmish yesterday in London. On Tuesday at check-in day, Pimblett threw a hand sanitizer bottle at the head of Topuria, and punches were thrown. No one really knew why it happened but according to ‘The Baddy’ he said Topuria was the one who went at him so he reacted with throwing the hand sanitizer bottle. The Brit said he wasn’t going to risk his fight getting called off by punching him so throwing the bottle made the most sense.

Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria got into a skirmish on Tuesday ahead of UFC London. Both Pimbeltt and Topuria are competing on the card at lightweight, but it will not be against one another. However, as they were both checking in on fight week and singing posters, Pimblett and Topuria saw one another and the Brit threw a hand sanitizer bottle off Topuria’s head and the two then exchanged punches, with the Georgian fighter posting the video on social media saying Pimblett disrespected his country.

Paddy Pimblett will not be fighting Jared Gordon after all. On Tuesday, Dana White revealed on The Dave Portnoy Show on Barstool, Pimblett was going to return at UFC London on March 19 against Jared Gordon. However, both managers claimed that was not true.

Now, his next fight has been booked as UFC president went on The Dave Portnoy Show on Barstool to reveal Pimblett has been booked to face Jared Gordon at UFC London on March 19.

Gordon defeated Joe Solecki via split decision in a grind of a fight that served as the headliner of the UFC Vegas 38 preliminary card. For Gordon, it’s his third straight win in the UFC and his first since moving back up to 155lbs. Immediately following his big win over Solecki, Gordon used his post-fight interview as the chance to call out Pimblett. The Brit recently made his UFC debut with a KO win over Luigi Vendramini and Gordon hopes that he gets the chance to fight him next. And it appears as though Pimblett is interested, too.
