If you grew up in the late 80’s to late 90’s you probably grew up looking up to and aspiring to be Michael Jordan, Emmett Smith, or maybe even Tom Cruise, but not us… We were raised by a shoe salesman who hated his job, hated his buddies wife, and sat on the couch with his hand in his pants… AL Bundy! Well we have the man who made Al Bundy one of the baddest men of the 80’s and 90’s kick off the second hour. Ed O’Neill will be at Metamoris 2 helping out with the commentary for the event. Ed is a black belt under Rorion Gracie has been involved in BJJ for over 20 years. We will talk with Ed about his journey through the sport as a Gracie Black Belt, Metamoris 2, the future of BJJ, and what’s his next goal on his journey in martial arts. You know we will fit in some time about his career as an actor and getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and of course playing Jay Pritchett on the ABC sitcom Modern Family, where he has been selected for two Emmy award nominations in 2011 and 2012. Thales Leites returns to face Tom Watson at UFC 163

Former middleweight title challenger, Thales Leites (20-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC), is once again a UFC fighter. Leites is set to make his octagon return this August at UFC 163 in Brazil against British standout Tom Watson (16-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC). Leites’ was released by the UFC following a UFC 101 split decision loss to Alessio Sakara. Since his UFC release, Leites has gone 6-1 on the international circuit and has beaten former UFC vets Dean Lister, Jesse Taylor and Jeremy Horn in the process.
Soa Palelei vs. Nikita Krylov booked for UFC 164 in Milwaukee

Another heavyweight tilt has been added to UFC 164 in Milwaukee, as it was announced that undefeated UFC newcomer Nikita Krylov (14-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will meet Soa “The Hulk” Palelei (18-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at the Bradley Center on August 31. The undefeated Ukrainian heavyweight, Krylov, has won all 14 of his fights by way of first round stoppage. Krylov went 11-0 in 2012, this despite not having his first fight until July. Nine of Krylov’s 14 wins have come by form of submission, however, his 3 most recent wins have come by way of KO or TKO.

Next week in the UFC on FUEL TV 10 main event, two Brazilian fighters will finalize their season of “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2” with a rematch almost 7-years in the making.
