Ricardo was named the 13th most powerful player in MMA in the Fight! Power rankings which means this is a perfect guest to talk to about the current state of MMA. We will talk to Ricardo about the history of ATT, his time learning martial arts from a young age (He got his start in combat sports at 4 years old), and the program he has at ATT to teach judo to visually impaired students. Ricardo’s story of getting into BJJ, to his leaving the famed Gracie academy, creating Brazilian Top Team, and ending up in the states to start ATT is worthy of a movie and we will be talking all of it. I couldn’t think of a better way to start out the show then to have a man who has won Gold at the first ever “Mundials,” or World Jiu-Jitsu Championship & Gold in the International Masters Mundials. Shields is coming off an Athletic suspension for testing positive for banned substances and is rumored to be scheduled for a date with fellow Strikeforce import Tyron Woodley at UFC 161 this June.

This Sunday on BJPenn.com’s FIST-ta-CUFF Radio, our third guest Nick Piedmont is ready to step back in the Bellator Cage and go to war. We will talk to Nick about how his training has been going at one of the best gyms in the nation, getting the call to come back and fight for Bellator, and the details on the call. Nick is making the most of his move to San Diego, CA and training with the rest of the team at Alliance MMA. Nick is no longer the new guy at the gym, but another member of the team and of course we will talk to him about how his gym life has changed since the move. Our second guest on this week of BJPenn.com’s FIST-ta-CUFF Radio is a man who is becoming a frequent guest and one we have been waiting to see get his turn to fight inside The Ultimate Fighter house. Clint Hester is back this week and he’s got his first round fight coming up inside the house, which means there is plenty to talk about. We will of course discuss last weeks action and Team Jones keeping control of the picks as Clint’s teammate won his fight by devastating knockout. Things are starting to heat up in the house with Urijah Hall and basically everyone. We will get the inside scoop from Clint and open the phone lines for all your questions as we get closer to finding out who will be this seasons Ultimate Fighter.

You don’t get the nickname “The Highlight Kid” without deserving it, the same could be said when it comes to being a coach on Jon Jones team on this season of The Ultimate Fighter. Well Bubba Jenkins is that man and he is joining us for BJPenn.com’s FIST-ta-CUFF Radio show 177. We will talk how Bubba got the call to join Jon Jones on this season of The Ultimate Fighter and handle the wrestling coaching for Team Jones. So far we are nearing the half way point of the season and have seen some amazing fights. We will also find out when we will see Bubba back in the cage and his plans for his own fight career.
