Pros react to Robbie Lawler’s thrilling victory over Donald Cerrone

Fight fans were treated to an awesome welterweight scrap at last night’s UFC 214 event in Anaheim, as “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler took on Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

The former UFC welterweight champion of the world, Lawler, had a strong opening round as he quickly blitzed Cerrone with punches right from the opening bell.

“Cowboy” would come back with vengeance in round two, delivering some solid combinations and a couple of beautiful head kicks that had “Ruthless” in some serious trouble.

Round three was a back and forth affair, with both Lawler and Cerrone showing a ton of heart while inflicting as much damage as humanly possible.

In the end, “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler was given the unanimous decision victory from the judges in attendance (29-28 x3).
