BREAKING | Winner of Robbie Lawler and Rafael dos Anjos Gets Title Shot According to Dana White

By Justin Golightly - October 13, 2017

Yesterday, we got an incredible fight announced. Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos will walk into Canada to fight former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. If that wasn’t big enough, dos Anjos immediately took to Twitter and wanted it promoted to a fight for the interim welterweight title. Tyron Woodley did not agree and issued a statement shutting that business down. It looks like the UFC agreed as well, but RDA may get something just as good.

Rafael Dos Anjos

At the UFC 217 presser this morning, Dana White was asked about the recent fight announcement and revealed that the winner of Lawler and dos Anjos gets the next title shot. Of course, anything can happen between now and when Woodley is healed up from his shoulder, but this should make Rafael dos Anjos very happy. He asked and now he gets it, he has to get through Robbie Lawler in order to holla at Woodley’s hands.
