Rafael dos Anjos gives updated timetable for return
There’s been no official word yet on who UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos will face when he makes his return to the Octagon following a broken foot.
RDA joined Bas Rutten and Mauro Ranallo on Inside MMA to give an update on the foot injury which forced him out of his UFC 196 title fight with Conor McGregor.
“I will be ready by July. I’m ready to fight in July.”
After Mauro Ranallo pointed out that UFC 200 is in July, RDA stated:
“I’m here. Whatever the UFC decides i’ll be ready. In 3 more weeks I’ll be ready to jump, to kick. In July, I’m ready.
UFC 200 is certainly an already stacked card which features a welterweight rematch between Conor McGregor & Nate Diaz, Miesha Tate’s first title defense against Amanda Nunes, and an interim title fight between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar.
With all of those bouts official, do you think there’s room for RDA to defend his belt at the event?
