Fedor Emelianenko vs. King Mo?
King Mo is fresh off of his heavyweight tournament win at Rizin FF several weeks ago, King Mo is looking for a rather quick turnaround in the coming months.
Given the triumphant return of Fedor Emelianenko at Rizin on New Year’s Eve it shouldn’t come as a shock that King Mo is hoping for a fight against ‘The Last Emperor’.
King Mo spoke on The MMA Hour to discuss who he would like to fight, and when.
“March or April vs. Fedor or Phil Davis. Either one. Whichever one pays the most.”
“If RIZIN wants me to fight somebody like Fedor I’d definitely do that. I’d definitely do that. I won the tournament, he won his fight. I’m kind of a heavyweight, moneyweight. I’ll fight anybody that’s there. Fedor’s a good name. People want to bash him and say he’s washed up, but they don’t know. I’m smaller than him. If anything, I’m at a disadvantage, He’s a name, he’s bigger, more experienced. I’m willing to fight him, I’ll fight everyone.”
While a fight with Emelianenko would certainly bring more eyes to the event, a fight with Davis could make more sense for King Mo if Rizin is looking to give Emelianenko super fights.
