The former 170-pound kingpin, Lawler, was recently dethroned by Tyron Woodley at last month’s UFC 201 event in Atlanta.
Prior to his loss to “The Chosen One”, Lawler had put together an impressive five-fight win streak which included two UFC welterweight title defenses.
