UFC star Robert Whittaker has praised Sean O’Malley for his performance against Marlon Vera at UFC 299.
With the world watching, Sean O’Malley put on a clinic in Miami last weekend. He dominated Marlon Vera from beginning to end, registering an impressive decision victory. Now, many are looking at ‘Suga’ and wondering whether or not he’s one of the biggest stars in the history of the bantamweight division.

It makes sense, given his personality and the nature of his wins inside the Octagon. In addition to that, he’s also starting to really earn the respect of his fellow fighters.
In a recent podcast, Robert Whittaker was the latest member of the roster to come out and voice his praise for Sean.
Whittaker praises O’Malley
“Mate, it was a landslide,” Whittaker said on his MMArcade podcast. “Sean was phenomenal, like not only was he striking on point, and I mentioned this in my predictions, that his spacing is so good and obviously he’s got long reach.
“He’s a tall guy for the division, but I think his arms just lead that. But his eyes, his instincts and his spacing just lead him to be able to strike and throw punches and fire off lefts and rights and be creative from the outside whenever he wants. And I will say on top of that, it looked like his speed was a notch higher.”
