Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino calls out Ronda Rousey at 140 pounds after talk of returning at UFC 205
The talk of a superfight between Ronda Rousey and Cris “Cyborg” Justino have been rumbling for a long time.
After Rousey lost the UFC women’s bantamweight title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 back in November, many may have thought the allure of the superfight was lost.
However, no love for the bout has been lost by “Cyborg,” the current Invicta FC featherweight champion who is set to make her UFC debut at UFC 198 at a catchweight of 140 pounds against Leslie Smith.
Rousey was in attendance for New York City’s bill signing legalizing MMA in the state and mentioned she would like to return to the Octagon at UFC 205, which is taking place in the Madison Square Garden. A day after, “Cyborg” tweeted, “Remember when @RondaRousey said you have to come to the champ? How about we compromise. 140 super fight for the fans.”
