Miesha Tate reacts to Ronda Rousey’s post-UFC 193 suicide comments

Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey have a long standing rivalry. While most rivalries in combat sports don’t extend outside of the Octagon, Rousey and Tate’s has continued outside of the Octagon.

Recently, following Rousey’s UFC 193 KO loss to Holly Holm, she revealed that she had suicidal thoughts.

In the wake of Rousey’s comments, Miesha Tate has reacted to Rousey’s comments in an interview with News 3 Las Vegas to discuss post-fight depression.

“Religiously, it’s never an option for me. I had a boyfriend who committed suicide early on in my life, I promised I would never do that to the people around me now matter how down and out I get. Taking my own life is not an option, but I understand those emotions of feeling like you’ve lost everything.”
