PHOTO | Ronda Rousey named as 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model
Ronda Rousey has managed to stay out of the media spotlight for the most part since her UFC 193 loss to Holly Holm last year.
While Rousey is currently busy filming several movies for Hollywood, photos recently emerged of the former champ back training with Glendale Fight Club head coach Edmond Tarverdyan.
While Holly Holm is slated to defend her bantamweight championship against Miesha Tate at UFC 196 on March 5th, it is expected that Rousey will face the winner of that fight at a later date.
In the meantime, BleacherReport is reporting that Rousey has been named as one of 3 women to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2016 Swimsuit Issue.
The UFC took to Twitter to congratulate Rousey.
