“Super” Sage Northcutt is looking like he is terrific shape ahead of his fight coming up against John Makdessi. The two are set to meet in the center of the Octagon at UFC 214, which takes place on July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Ahead of his fight, Northcutt posted some photos to his social media account of him getting some work done at the new UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new facility has some state of the art technology paired with the latest and greatest performance and recovery equipment along with full-time specialists, which is open for all UFC fighters to use free of charge. All they have to do is make their way to Las Vegas to use the new facility.

Northcutt is one of those who took the opportunity to get in the new UFC Performance Institute to get some training done and “Super” Sage is surely looking like a beast.

Northcutt posted the following photos to social media and the UFC star is looking like a beefed up welterweight rather than a lightweight in his latest photos. Of course, Northcutt has fought at welterweight but will be going back down to lightweight for his bout with Makdessi.

Northcutt holds an 8-2 professional mixed martial arts record and is 3-2 in the UFC. Sage is coming off a loss to Mickey Gall at UFC on FOX 22 where be was submitted in the second round by rear-naked choke. Both of Northcutt’s losses have been at welterweight and will look to continue his unbeaten record in the UFC lightweight division.

John Makdessi holds a 14-6 professional mixed martial arts record and is 7-6 in the UFC. Makdessi is also coming off a loss after being knocked out by Lando Vannata in the first round of their fight at UFC 206.
