Rising UFC star Sage Northcutt announced on Wednesday that he has signed a deal with Reebok.

Northcutt joins other star athletes from the UFC including Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey and Chris Weidman who have inked personal endorsements with Reebok that go beyond the exclusive uniform deal with the UFC.

Northcutt said in his post on social media, “So pumped to announce that I’ve officially signed with @Reebok. #TeamReebok”

A fellow lightweight fighter wasn’t too thrilled with Northcutt’s announcement.

Ramsey Nijem replied to Northcutt’s twitter announcement saying, “@sagenorthcutt @Reebok who were you with before? Reebok lol get signed after a loss. Do you think it’s bc you’re a good fighter?”

Northcutt’s likable and respectable character along with his looks are definitely helping him to gain loads of fans and in turn getting him endorsements from companies that are looking to gain from his popularity.
