However, after the first three rounds, it did not appear Stipe Miocic would win the fight. In fact, some pundits claim he was “dominated” by Cormier.

Many heavyweight fighters will now be pushing for the next title shot against the Croatian-American champion and that includes heavy hitter, Francis Ngannou. During an episode on the Ariel Helwani podcast on Monday, the Cameroonian-French fighter revealed he is itching for a rematch against Miocic.

The disclosed salaries have been released for UFC 241, and new UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic led the way with a $750,000 payday. Miocic knocked out Daniel Cormier in the fourth round to win back the title he lost last year. He received no win bonus for the victory. The man he took the belt from, DC, banked $500,000 in the loss. In the co-main event, Nate Diaz took home $250,000 for his unanimous decision win over Anthony Pettis. There was no win bonus awarded to Diaz. “Showtime” took home $155,000 in the loss.

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic regrets the post-fight celebratory dance he did after he knocked out Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 241. After finishing DC with strikes in the fourth round, Miocic did a little jig in the center of the Octagon. Speaking to reporters at the post-fight press conference, Miocic says he watched the movie “Old School” earlier in the day and tried to copy the dance moves of Will Ferrell’s ‘Frank the Tank’ character.
